A tekno producer who is based in Liège. In a city where drum & bass and hardcore dominate, he brings tekno to life carving out his own path and already has gathered a community around his sound. He is a co-founder of Vizion Focus, where sound and visual experimentation intertwine, and resident at Gazmatek. The first producer in our archive to bring a set of original creations, channeling raw tekno energy.
Following his passion for producing it has taken him beyond the local floors, with gigs now spreading across different countries. Beyond the studio, his passion for urban exploring and photography finds its way into self-designed album covers, tying together a multidisciplinary practice into one cohesive vision.
The concept emerged from a unique intersection of passions: architecture & urbanism, music, and a desire to connect. At its core, ‘suburb’ explores how the urban environment shapes musical tastes and influences artistic output. Aiming to preserve and showcase the - unique - musical identities of artists (DJs and producers), the platform serves as a decentralized digital archive that ties their work to specific locations, fostering a sense of belonging and identity.
Through the format of seasonal episodes, based on an intricate entanglement of recorded performances and interviews, ‘suburb’ tries to capture the diversity of musical expression in different (sub)urban areas, locally and globally. The platform aims to shape a (digital) space for connection, offering individuals a chance to feel heard in this age of acceleration - through participation, between creators and beholders.
Through the art of mapping, the visual translation of this data, ‘suburb’ invites individuals to reflect on how their surroundings impact their creative process.
